'A dust storm covers Mars' surface. The first one since we're here. Forced to live within the limits of our stations, continued work is done to strengthen the spots in the settlement that we feel are the weakest. Communication is still possible between the scattered stations throughout the land. Our gear is still doing its job.

We spend the days in dimly-lit rooms and corridors because power is a precious resource at this moment. How long will this storm last? We have found technical problems at certain moments during this week. Nothing too inmportant, a briefly lost transmission here and there, a blackout which lasted for a never-ending hour (or something like that, I'm not sure). Other things, like our interior crops were not harmed by the power loss, fortunately. Sometimes, I feel our superiors are not telling us the whole story, though.

Everyone is in good shape so far, give or take a few minor diseases. The health situation is quite solid, our morale is a completely different thing...concern is the intangible medium that flows between us. People here don't talk so much about worries and such, I guess to keep the morale as high as possible, but the invisible worrying fluid is exchanged between us nevertheless.

We need to be patient, and focused on our daily duties. This will pass, for sure, but it's hard to live it from the inside. We have many dreams and goals for our stay here but I think I'm not wrong if I say that our most passionate wish right now is to look at the next Earthrise, whenever that comes.'

This new album features a theme as its backbone, a long and hard dust storm that falls on the settlements on Mars. While the music is very 'space-oriented' in its sound and texture, there are a few notable exceptions to this stylistic homogeneity. This brings in a diversity into the album that differentiates it from the previous one.

We hope you enjoy it and thank you for your support. A very special thanks goes to all the artists who contributed to this album.
